The Coleman MAX is a great

daypack and hydtration system at a value price. With 2,200 cubic inches it can hold a lot of gear for a day out on the trail. It also includes a hydration system that actually works. It’s another Walmart good deal. I give this pack a thumbs up for usefulness and value. (ipad users can view video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvvCqZK9gi8

The pack is also excellent for urban use without drawing undue attention. Of course it’s not a

BOB for most preppers due to its small size and lack of full support and hip belt. It’s not intended for heavy loads or long trips

The pack is great for short hikes, day excursions, and perhaps a night or two of camping in fair weather. Bottom line, its a great little daypack at a value price.

In the near futureI hope to review and make a video on BOBs bug out bags and bugging out.

God Bless You

I found an exceptional bargain on a Kershaw knife. It only cost me $10 and cuts paper. A great little knife and an exceptional value. Got it at Walmart a few days back. If they have more I will buy them. So far very pleased with the knife.

Eagle Wing has been my friend for over 13 years. She also attended my Y2K Seminar and is a prepper. I met her in a Bible study in Palm Beach, Florida. She is a strong Christian and an experienced prepper. We are in North Carolina looking for more property. We are also backpacking and camping out.

We did not video tape much of our backpacking and camping trip due to the size and weight of the video camera. We also had our two little dogs, which needed to be carried on the rocky parts of the trail.

In a forum, someone asked what are your top three survival tools. Of course, we would not want to be in a survival situation with only three tools. But the question is a good mental exercise. And more importantly, having the three tools that I chose could save one’s life.

I chose a chose a survival knife, fire starting tool, and a water carrier.

Specifically: Cold Steel Recon Scout, Blast Match by Ultimate Survival Technologies, and the Backpacker water bottle by Guyot designs.

Every survival situation varies as to conditions and circumstances, and you may have a different choice than those items that I chose.
