Here’s a video of me in the North Carolina mountains at my getaway house. This is not my survival retreat. (ipad users can view video at: youtube video

A thank you to all my subscribers who have been patient. Have been in the mountains camping, backpacking, practicing survival skills, shooting, and prepping.

I have not posted in over 5 months. This is a blog update for my subscribers to keep them informed. The North Carolina mountain house is just a fun getaway house and location – it is not my survival retreat.

My schedule have been hectic and blogging has not been a top priority, but I plan to do more. I have a lot of survival gear, firearms, knives, and other stuff to review. Also want to share survival, prepping, tactical defense skills, and other skills.

I appreciate your support and plan on doing more blogging. Thank You

This is a video response to “The Hoss USMC” video “When they come for your guns.”
His video had some excellent advice for preppers and gun owners in the event of a gun grab. I created a response to supplement and add to the content and principles explained in his video. (ipad users can view the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qu6jC4zk_lo

The bottom line is that you cannot defend a fixed location against superior firepower. My advice is to cache some of your weapons and supplies at various locations and be ready to evacuate your home or retreat and head to a bug out location where you have supplies, guns, and ammo cached. Live to fight another day.

There is a push for a global gun ban and many of our so called leaders in Washington are signing up for the gun ban. This ban will override our Constitution. It is imperative that all gun owner unite and join the NRA and GOA (Gun Owners of America). We need to make a stand and http://www.cialisgeneriquefr24.com/cialis-est-il-en-vente-libre-en-espagne/ protect our 2nd Amendment Rights.

The Zero Tolerance 300 ST is an exceptional knife. It’s extremely rugged and reliable. The ZT is razor sharp and as as tough as a tank. This knife lives up to the ZT goal of “Zero Tolerance in design, Zero Tolerance in function and Zero Tolerance in performance.” It is a beautiful knife that performs exemplary in its role of a combat/prepper knife. (ipad users can view video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aA3aWLTUqus

The Zero Tolerance 300 ST is quite capable of fulfilling multiple roles of a combat, survival, and utility blade. This knife is suitable for active http://www.cialispharmaciefr24.com/prix-moyen-cialis-10mg/ military personal, law enforcement, and fire fighters. It is also a great knife for preppers. Bottom line, this knife is reliable and capable.

The ZT is a relatively large knife with a 3.75 inch blade and weighs in at 8 ounces. It is not for whimps.

I have owned this knife for over 8 months and have also used it as a concealed carry defensive blade. The ZT has not failed or buy generic viagra cialis levitra disappointed me in any way. I personally love the knife and am completely satisfied with the purchase, even though I paid top dollar. It was love at first sight, and I just had to have it. I could have saved money if I would have shopped around.

I give the Zero Tolerance 300 St an overall value rating of 10 out of ten points.

Thank you for watching.

I love the KA-BAR and have owned a small collection of them as a small kid. They are great knives. In fact, the KA-BAR is a standard of excellence by which I cialis generique judge other survival defensive knives.

The KA-BAR is a proven knife that has been used in combat and survival situations since adopted by the United States Marine Corps in November 1942 as the 1219C2 combat knife (later designated the USMC Mark 2 combat knife or Fighting Utility Knife).

In my top 3 survival tools video, I precios de la viagra en farmacias compared the KA-BAR to other knives and choose the Cold Steel Recon Scout as the knife I would carry with me. This does not discredit the KA-BAR. I would very easily and successfully use a KA-BAR to fulfill any and all prepping needs. However, reality dictates that there are other and better knife choices for specific purposes and needs.

If your prepping budget does not allow for more expensive knives, consider the KA-BAR as your choice of blades. As stated it is proven. It is a

knife that works. It is a knife that will not let

you down. The Ka Bar is a great and classic knife.

Smith & Wesson Knife is acknowledged https://www.acheterviagrafr24.com/vente-viagra/ as one of the greatest gun makers in the world. But how do Smith & Wesson knives stack up when compared to other blades? In this in-depth review, Patriot Prepper gives you the low down on S & W knives.

Patriot Prepper owns over 30 Smith and Wesson knives and has used some of them on a daily basis. With the low cost of their knives, it is possible to have multiple blades to place in bug out bags, vehicles, your home, and your retreat.

Smith & Wesson knives are designed for tactical use, but are highly usable in a utility role. In the personal opinion of Patriot Prepper, the quality of S & W knives are not on par with S & W guns. They are very good knives but not exceptional.

The designs are pleasing, the features very good, but consistency

in the quality control leave the knives lacking when it compares to S & W greatness. With a little effort, the blades could be tweaked by S & W into a high end competitive blade. But what the heck, S & W blades are priced RIGHT!

In there niche, S & W seem to own the market, with few competitors competing in their price bracket with all the ruggedness and features of their knives. This of course could be disputed.

All and all, the knives in this review can be rated overall between 6 and 7 points on a 10 scale. They are very good knives.

On a price/value ratio, the knives rate higher, due to their low cost. For value, the knives are rated 9 on average.

Patriot Prepper loves S & W knives and believe they could fulfill the needs of a prepper who is on a budget. They are rugged, durable, and will perform when needed.

In a TEOTWAWKI or WROL situation, defense will be key to your survival as a prepper. You will be targeted. They will come after you. Be ready, get your ducks in a row. Defense is key.

Is your retreat ready for defense? Are you prepared for a WROL or SHTF event? Can you defend yourself and your family?

Practice shooting, fire drills, harden your home, have escape routes, are just some of the things you must do.

To learn more about GEN 4 survival retreats
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwJo-Cz0sIA

www.patriotprepper.com

I have been busy designing and building Gen 4™ prepper retreats. This video is a intro to the Gen 4 Design concept. I have the opportunity to publish a book on retreat design and construction. It will be a matter of finding the time to write it and also compile the information into a useable format.

The Gen 4 Design is my proprietary design and part of my complete system of prepping. It offers the utmost in security and defendability.

Reality dictates that there is no fail safe method of survival or defense of a person or a retreat. All we can do is attempt to minimize our risks and exposures by building into the retreat as many defense elements as possible.

As a bodyguard and a designer of retreats, I am highly aware of the shortcomings in both of these areas. In Executive Protection, if someone really wants to take out my client, by employing overwhelming force, there is little that can be done. All I can do is minimize the risk by building a defensive barrier for my clients protection that makes the bad guy use more resources to accomplish an attack. The same applies to retreats. By integrating multiple layers of defense mechanisms in the design and building of a retreat, I can minimize the risk of being overwhelmed as well as increase the probability of defending the retreat. That being said, there are no guarantees. Life is a game of probabilities.

I design retreats. Are they perfect? No. But they are, in my opinion, better than anything I have seen out there so far. I have put years of my life into designing and building retreats. Having grown up as a young boy working for my father, who was an excavator/land developer/builder, in some ways, I believe building retreats was part of my destiny.

I have been given the opportunity to write a book on the subject, it will be a major challenge. I hope I have the time and energy and can pass on my knowledge to other preppers before the SHTF.

A good defense will always have an element of offensive capability employed. Perimeter warning systems, patrols of property, LP/OP etc. will hopefully give ample warning time to employ an offensive team as well as a long range ability to defeat the threat. It is not wise to sit and wait for the enemy to start shooting at your dwelling. Everyone in our group trains several times a week. We employ movement into our fire team training as well as long range precision shooting. You can never train too much or be too prepared.

The best designed and built retreat will not be effective from a survival defense perspective unless the individuals are trained and disciplined. Skill and training are part of the package and are paramount.

Our dwelling also allow for a tactical withdrawal and retreat if we are overwhelmed. Also note that the main dwellings do not hold our supplies. Our supplies are all cached in various locations. It the enemy should breach our security and overwhelm us we would simply retreat. But they would inherit little more than an empty shell of a building.

Also note that anyone attempting to overtake the retreat will pay dearly. There are multiple layers of security features to give us ample warning to counter a threat. There are also barriers and traps that would be very costly to an intruder. An intruder would pay dearly and have to fight with blood to gain a foothold.

The Savage 10 FP LE .308 is an accurate gun – right out of the box!

That’s right, the Savage is extremely accurate for the money, and depending on circumstances could hold its own against much more expensive rifles. I am not great shooter, but I was able to get a 3 round group of less than 1/2 inch at 200 yards. That is amazing for an out of the box, relatively inexpensive gun.

There are several configurations of the Savage 10 FCP LE that offer several stocks, including the McMillian stock which did cost a little more. Unlike the HS Precision, the McMillian would require additional bedding. The 10FP series rifles are configured with the adjustable AccuTrigger, matte-blued barreled action, heavy free-floating and button-rifled barrel, an oversized bolt handle, internal box magazine (holding 4 rounds), and three swivel studs for sling and bipod mounting.

The heavy 20″ to 26″ is a free floated barrel which also has a recessed muzzel crown. An undamaged crown is critical for accuracy. A chipped, scratched or nicked crown allows gases to push the bullet slightly off target, significantly destroying accuracy. The rifling rate of twist is: 1 in 10″

The Savage FCP LE rifles are stocked with traditional shaped polymer stocks that have dual-pillar bedding and a third sling stud for mounting a bipod. Stocks that are options include:

* Choate designed by Major John Plastner, author of the “Ultimate Sniper” – The stock is a synthetic material with Dragunov-like skeleton butt, pistol grip, wide forearm, an adjustable cheekpad and buttplate.
* Choate “Folding” – Similar to the “Ultimate Sniper” stock except the stock folds.
* Choate “Tactical” – Synthetic material with adjustable cheek rest.
* McMillan fiberglass stocks.
* HS Precision stocks

The Savage 10 FP is a sniper/tactical rifle that shoots sub-MOA out of the box if you use match ammunition.

The tolerances on this gun are tight and the receiver and bolt are specifically manufactured (with matching serial numbers) for each other and are NOT interchangeable with other Savage FP rifles. The tight tolerance help the rifle’s accuracy from being affected by heat, moisture, and vibration.

I would not hesitate to recommend this gun to anyone, especially if you are on a budget. Of course, if you have an unlimited budget, are as rich as the FBI, and you can use taxpayer money, then go for the high priced gun. (Dear FBI please do not be PO at me, I am just a lowly little old prepper).

Well, thanks for watching. Hope you subscribe.
