This is part two of the “World’s Greatest Survival Vest” In part two, the concept of Urban Survival is highlighted. As a prepping/survival instructor, I teach both Urban Survival and Bugging Out.

Let me help you face reality by exposing the secrets, myths, and truth about Urban Survival.

One of the difficulties of Urban Survival is trying not to draw too much attention. Ideally you don’t want to be seen. The current myth is to be a “gray man” and blend in. In reality, depending on the scenario, blending in could be practically impossible.

In the worse case scenario, being an Urban Survivalist is not as easy as many preppers and instructors want you to believe. Urban Survival is a challenge that will take extraordinary skills.

Some well known gun instructors in South Florida have jumped on the Urban Survival bandwagon. For the most part they are pretty much idiots. Unfortunately, I know them and they are pretty pathetic, but they are a fortune for their classes and are raking in the dough.  The saddest part is that there are a few people who come from out of state to hear his hype.  Although he claims to have inside government secrets and military expertise, he is little more than a  blowhard.  Not the best shooter either.

The point of warning you about various instructor is to help you hang

on to your wallet, and to start engaging common sense.

One of my missions when I teach prepping/survival is to help individual face reality by expose the secrets, myths, and truth about Urban Survival.

In part one of the World’s Greatest Survival Vest, you are shown how useful a survival vest can be. In part two,

the use of a survival vest in a urban survival situation will be covered. In part three, we will compare a survival vest to a tactical vest.

A survival vest is part of a system. When implemented with key components on your belt, and in your pockets, the vest will provide you with all the tools you need in a survival situation – especially if you are separated from your backpack. A survival vest is about redundancy, having more than you need and following the philosophy that two is one, and one is none.

The World’s Greatest Survival Vest is made by Allen, and s a tough vest with multiple pockets and compartments. It holds plenty of gear. It is made well out of a material that does not sag and can handle a heavy load.  I overloaded the vest with tons of survival gear for illustration purposes. The gear you see is not exactly what I might carry.  In part two, I have a different load out.

The survival vest (Allen Big Horn fishing vest) can also be utilized with a day pack or a full size backpack or military ruck. The vest rides high and does not interfere with the waist best on a pack.

The World’s Greatest Survival Vest offers another option for survivalists, backpackers, and preppers.

Part two will highlight the survival vest in an urban survival setting. Part three will contrast and compare the survival vest to a tactical vest.

As a prepper with over

35 years of intensive experience, I enjoy meeting new people and giving them insight into the reality of prepping and how to survive cataclysmic and long-term, protracted disasters.

In recent years, in part due to an incompetent White House administration and a failing economy, there has been a sharp increase in learning how to prepare for many believe will be a SHTF (shit hit the fan) situation.

With this increased interest in prepping has come a plethora of information, and misinformation, regarding the topic of prepping and survival. My job is to help straighten out the mess and give people sound information. I have done this through video, live seminars, training other preppers to become instructors, and private consultations. I am a professional prepper and will work under

legal contractual agreement.

My specialties include designing and building Gen 4 Survival Retreats, retreat security, advanced bug out strategies, long-term food storage, water procurement, energy production, self defense strategies, and more.

I will be speaking and holding seminars across the nation this summer including stops in major cities in Florida. If you want to meet new preppers and survivalists, and learn more about prepping, I recommend that you can join our meetup group.

Sometimes I get tired of the negativity around me. There are plenty of people in the world, on forums, and youtube, who are impossibility thinkers. To them, if they can’t do it, they think it’s impossible. Well I’m a possibility thinker. I do what I set out to do and don’t let things deter me. I encourage preppers to think positive.

Along with thinking positive and being a levitra uk next day possibility thinker, I try to be thankful and grateful in all circumstances.

Survival is more of an attitude than a collection of gear and equipment. I have designed and build elaborate survival retreats. However, if the individuals do not train, have negative attitudes, they will not prix moyen cialis 10mg survive.

With the right mind set, the right attitude, you can and will survive.

When preppers get together, its inevitable that they will engage in the “bugging out” conversation. This entails discussions of bug out bags, bug out gear, bug out strategies and tactics, bug out vehicles, and bug out locations.

These conversations can be pretty interesting and enlightening. The conversations can also be frustrating for some beginning preppers who start to realize how much they

still have to do. The amount of preparation that is needed to bug out can be daunting. In fact, many preppers freak out and start thinking they will simply bug in or shelter in place and choose to be urban survivalists.

Bugging in or sheltering in place can be an acceptable option, and for some people their only option. But giving up on a bug out plan and strategy should not be your reason for choosing to bug in. Bugging out has some real advantages over bugging in, or urban survival. So before you decide to bug in or bug out, you really need to learn a great deal more.

My own strategy is to bug out, but I have also become an expert at bugging in. Depending on circumstances, I will have the skill sets and supplies to stay or go – to bug in or bug out. And that is the option that I teach. Be able to do both.

Since this is a forum on bugging out, I will give you some insights into what you need to know and start posting more material on the subject. But keep in mind, reading about it and not acting is worthless. Having a road map in your car will not transport you to your destination. You need to take action by starting the car and driving towards the destination. The same with prepping and bugging out, information is the beginning step. Then you need to start applying the information.

When I teach classes, I start by sharing information. Then I move into the hands on part of a course, where you actually have a chance to apply the knowledge. This method I use for self defense and firearm training, survival training, and prepper training. Knowledge and practice are what develop a skill set.

So if you are a beginning prepper, do not be frustrated. Learning how to do anything including bugging out is a simple step by step process. Like eating an elephant, you do it one bite at a time.

The mudjam is a great place to view and inquire about the details of building a bug out vehicle capable of operating effectively off road. There were so many potential bug out vehicle BOV concepts that it boggles the mind. If you are a prepper, you certainly can see the potential capabilities that these vehicles have. You are also aware of the need for a bug out vehicle.

The Saint Lucie Mudjam 2013 is located in Saint Lucie County, Florida. It is a 3 day event held on 500 acres. The event featured mud racing, mud bogs, music, camping, bonfires, and a great time for everyone. The girls cialis est il en vente libre en espagne got a little “wild” at night.

This is a great place to view and inquire about the details of building a bug out vehicle capable of operating effectively off road.

Because I messed up and ran my batteries down, I only video taped part of the races, and a few vehicles in the parking area. I did not shoot the Mud Bogs, music, bonfire and other wild events. Hope you enjoy the vid and hope to see you there next time.

It’s time for gun owners to take a STAND and FIGHT for their rights. There are over 90 million gun owners in America and only a small percentage are members of the NRA. If we don’t start standing up for our 2nd Amendment Rights they will be stripped from us. (ipad users:

To keep our Second Amendment Rights we need to be proactive, we need to take a stand and we need to FIGHT. One of the best ways of fighting is to support organizations like the NRA that have lawyers and lobbyists who are aggressive in protecting our rights.

There are only a few organizations that are actively standing up and fighting for our Second Amendment Rights and they are the NRA and GOA (Gun Owners of America). I belong to both organizations and fully support them.

By supporting the NRA and the GOA you will help us viagra sans ordonnance retain our gun rights. Be Proactive. Take a STAND. And FIGHT. Join the NRA today.

This is a review of the Kershaw Cyclone with a comparison to the SOG Aegis. Both are excellent knives. One of the lessons in this review is to be sure the knife meets your needs. I have carried the Kershaw Cyclone for many years and really love the knife it is comfortable and it is a high quality

knife for its price range. Because knives are very personal items the comparison between the Kershaw Cyclone and the SOG Aegis is only a highlight of the differences and features, and my opinion on which suits me best. (ipad users can view video here:

I rate the Kershaw Cyclone higher than the SOG Aegis on areas of ergonomics, blade steel, lockup, and more. While both are great knives and the SOG has the cool factor, I believe the Kershaw Cyclone is a better knife. But that is my opinion and experience. Your opinion may be quite different. I rate the SOG Aegis 7.5 out of 10 points and the Kershaw Cyclone 8 out of 10 points.

The rating is base on the ability of the knife to fulfill a particular mission as well as quality and features. As state both are excellent knives.
